Server Starter Plugin Description. UPDATED TO NEWEST CRAFTBUKKIT BUILD (1.10) - June 2016. This plugin was created to run basic commands without having to keep struggling with other command plugins. My players told me I should upload it to bukkit and, here it is! More Plugins! Bukkit is the developer API, while CraftBukkit is a mod for the official Minecraft server that implements the Bukkit API. Basically, Bukkit is what plugin developers work with to bring you those cool, new features that make your server awesome. CraftBukkit is what we've made so that you can use those plugins with the official Minecraft server.

You may be able to run CraftBukkit plugins on Forge based Minecraft servers. Popular mod packs such as Tekkit Lite and Voltz have Forge at their core. The following instructions add MCPC-Plus/Cauldron or BukkitForge to your server, which let you run CraftBukkit plugins.
They’re experimental, which means your server may or may not continue to work the same as before. MCPC-Plus/Cauldron and BukkitForge may also not support all plugins. NOTE: Cauldron installation and links are out of date. Use instead (1.7.10 only!). For earlier versions of MCPC-Legacy, MCPC+, or Cauldron,.
Find and download the JAR of MCPC-Plus/Cauldron that matches your server version. Stars indicate stable versions. 9/12/13 Note: Please try to install builds after 9/3/13, as older versions may be vulnerable to a player authentication issue.
Login to your server FTP and open your game folder. Upload it to the folder. Go to Command Center. From the server list, find the server you want to modify, and click the Manage button on the right.
From that server, click the gear icon and go to Game Update. Find the MCPC-Plus server JAR from the custom JAR section. Click Install. Completing the Install. Restart your server. Make sure your server works and you can get on.
Get your plugins from. Be sure to install ones that match your server version. To view all of the available versions of a plugin, click the Files tab beneath the Bukkit logo on the top left. Instructions are in Command Center. On the left panel (“ Local site”), navigate to the folder on your computer that you have downloaded (and extracted) the plugins to.
On the right side (“ Remote site”), open the game folder, and then open the plugins folder. If you don’t see it, right-click, and then click Refresh.
If you still don’t see it, right-click, and create a new folder. Drag and drop a plugin.jar from the left pane (“ Local site”) into the plugins folder on the right (“ Remote site”). Repeat if necessary. However, we recommend adding one or two plugins at a time and restarting your server in between. As plugins are coded by different people around the world with varying levels of quality control, some may cause stability issues that cause your server to crash. By installing one plugin at a time, you can be certain which plugin is causing an issue.
Restart your server to activate your new plugins. Was this answer helpful?
